Company data from official registers
The company pages show information that official registers publish as open data (listed on the Sources and licences page): names, registration numbers, legal form, status, dates, registered address and declared activity. We publish pages about companies and other legal entities only. We do not publish pages about individuals, and we do not show the names of directors, shareholders or beneficial owners. Sole traders who are registered under a personal identification number are left out. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in making official public information easier to find and compare (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object or ask for a correction through the contact form.
Visiting the site
The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Fonts and scripts are served from our own server, so no third party learns about your visit. The server keeps technical access logs (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser) to keep the service secure and running; these logs are deleted after 14 days at the latest.
Contact form
When you write to us, we store your email address, the type of request, your message and, if you give it, a company number or page address. To limit abuse we also store a one-way hash of your IP address, never the address itself. We use this only to answer you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling enquiries and, for removal requests, our legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR). Messages are deleted once the request is settled, and after 24 months at the latest.
Recipients
We do not sell or share personal data with anyone else.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Write to info@firmsdb.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
